Privacy Policy

Hirely is a hiring platform used by companies ("customers") to manage their recruiting process. This policy covers two kinds of people: members of a customer's hiring team who use Hirely directly, and candidates who apply to jobs posted through Hirely.

From hiring team members: name, work email, role within the organization, and account activity.

From candidates: name, email, phone number, résumé/CV, and information extracted from the résumé (work history, skills) to support screening. If an interview is scheduled, we also process interview feedback submitted by the hiring team about the candidate.

We use this data to operate the hiring pipeline: matching candidates to roles, scheduling interviews, generating AI-assisted candidate summaries and screening scores to support (not replace) human decisions, sending email notifications, and letting a hiring team collaborate on a candidate.

We do not sell personal data.

We use a small number of infrastructure providers to run Hirely, and only share the data necessary for each to do its job: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database hosting), Backblaze B2 (file storage for résumés and documents), Resend (transactional email), OpenAI (AI-assisted screening and summaries), and, if a customer connects it, Google Calendar (interview scheduling).

Candidate and hiring data is retained for as long as a customer's account is active, or as needed to provide the service. We're finalizing formal retention periods as we move out of beta.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at privacy@hirely.sbs. If you applied to a job through a Hirely customer, that customer is the primary contact for your application data — we'll route your request accordingly.

We'll update this page as our practices evolve, particularly as we move out of closed beta. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
